31 Weeks!

How far along: 31 Weeks. (oh my gosh, are there really only 9 more weeks?)

Size of Baby: Pineapple (awww, a cute fruit).

Neat facts about baby: All five of her senses are working! She's going through major brain and nerve development. Her eyes are also developing and her irises respond to light.

Total weight gain: I'm over 20 pounds now, eek!! The number on the scale is frightening.

What I miss: Wearing my wedding rings :( They officially stopped fitting. I'm wearing a fake band just because my hand felt so naked without rings.

Sleep: Still not so great, but not as bad as it had been.

Symptoms: Swelling in my hands, whomp whomp. My legs are getting tired (from that extra 20 pounds, I'm sure) and I'm running out of breath easier (apparently she is crowding my lungs right now - thanks, baby). Also, heartburn. I have never in my life had heartburn and I have been getting it over the last couple days - it's horrific!

Cravings/Aversions: Nothing specific except maybe donuts... but I'm constantly hungry!

Movement: She's still a wiggly little lady :) She moved the entire drive home from work last night!

Maternity clothes: I still haven't bought any clothes from the maternity section, but my jeans are seriously not fitting me anymore, so it may become inevitable. The bigger the belly, the worse they fit. Yikes!

Best moments this week: My doctor's visit :) Even though the scale nearly game me a panic attack, my blood pressure was normal, her heartbeat was strong, and my belly is measuring right on target. So, it was good to know everything is going well and I can definitely fly up to my baby shower with no worries.

What I'm looking forward to: BABY SHOWER! And putting together the crib this weekend!!

Rocking the $15 Wal-Mart dress - I'm not ashamed!

Why oh why is it Monday?

I wasn't ready for Monday. Rawr!!

The husband and I had a lovely weekend back at home. Of course we would have rather been at the beach again, but it's always nice to be home with our little, furry family :) Friday night, Josh picked up "Cabin in the Woods" on his way home from work. We made some spaghetti, watched the movie, and then I went to bed embarrassingly early and blamed pregnancy - thanks, pregnancy, for taking the blame for every lame thing I do. You're the best!

Saturday, we returned to our familiar morning routine. Coffee/computer time followed by waffles, sausage, and orange juice! We did some nesting activities. When we got the carpet replaced we had to take down the closet doors in the nursery. When doing this, we realized the doors were once a dark, navy blue. How did we notice this? The lazy people before us only repainted the fronts of the doors and the back of the doors, as well as parts of the door frames, were still dark blue. We never noticed this because we never stood in the closet with a flashlight. Soooo, we went to get some paint and repainted the doors. I spent a lot of the morning going through the tubs of baby clothes my mom brought us (clothes my sister and I wore as kids). Holy cuteness! The little dresses are so cute. I just want her to wear them on rotation. And I adored how dated some of the items were - soooo 80s and 90s. She's so going to be rocking that Care Bears sweater vest! We also rearranged our bedroom with some end tables we received from the Brians (they belonged to Josh's grandparents) - LOVE them! Our room looks more like a nice bedroom now :)

Josh grilled us some awesome burgers for lunch - we decided to give Bubba Burgers a try, and they're actually very tasty! We kind of just relaxed and hung out most of the day and since we had such a late lunch, didn't really feel like eating dinner. So I threw a batch of cookies in the oven and we ate those. Once again, I will blame pregnancy ;) And I will blame eating lunch at 2:30pm - not a good idea. After our cookie dinner (Josh also ate Snickers), we watched the FSU v. Clemson game. Josh was very enthusiastic as it was a pretty awesome day - he was yelling and jumping off the couch. I was commenting on the cute football players and the "tight ends" bwhahahaha. Guys, I actually watched the entire game and stayed up until midnight doing so. Impressed? You should be.

Sunday, we had the same morning routine and breakfast. I then headed out to the grand opening of HomeGoods. BAD IDEA. Every woman over the age of 20 in Tallahassee was in that store, with a few miserable looking men thrown into the mix. They were all just looking around like children being brought to Disney Land for the first time. This made it impossible to shop, and I was quickly out the door. I'll go back when there are less people, geez. Josh and I then put the closet doors back up and put the cute new knobs on them, and our weekend nesting was complete! :) We headed out to Tropical Smoothie (I got a kiwi quencher for lunch, nom nom nom), World Market, and Pier 1 to find covers for the end tables so our cats don't destroy them. After a successful mission, we returned home for the day. We played Super Mario 3 on my Super Nintendo for a few hours, then watched "Hoarders" and "Breaking Amish" - very entertaining. He then grilled us some amaaazing steaks for dinner and we sat down to watch the Emmy's. I went to bed before they were over (blame the pregnancy!) and he stayed up to watch the new "Breaking Amish" - apparently this caused him to dream of Amish people all night. Amazing.

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I will see some of you soooooooooooo soon!!!!!

OBX Trip!!

Sadly, we are back from our vacation. As all vacations, it wasn't nearly long enough. So, here's what we did :)

We left early, early, early Saturday (5:30am is early, early, early). First stop was Dunkin Donuts for some coffee and biscuits! We continued this pig-esque behavior for the remainder of the trip. My excuse: pregnancy. Josh's excuse: human garbage disposal. After our Dunkins, we also stopped for: Chocolate donut with decaf coffee, some cheese and beef jerky, chicken fingers and fries from Zaxby's, and lastly, chocolate donut and decaf iced coffee from a Dunkins express. Traveling makes us hungry :) Once we finalllllly made it to the Outer Banks, we checked into our hotel (the fancy Ramada Plaza in Kitty Hawk; thanks Priceline Negotiator!). Our hotel was oceanfront, but our room was not - that's what I get for being a cheapskate. We relaxed in the hotel for a bit, and then headed off to dinner at The Black Pelican. That restaurant is special to us because it's where Josh took me to eat before proposing to me [the first time] on the beach! Last time we were there, I wasn't old enough to drink. This time when we were there, I was a bit pregnant and couldn't drink. Silly Black Pelican, you never let me drink your booze! Josh ordered the shrimp on the barbie and I ordered the seafood risotto (complete with shrimp, scallops, and crab). Josh insisted on ordering dessert (he's using my pregnancy as an excuse to always get dessert, and I'm okay with that), a delicious flan :)

Sunday, we started off the day with Stack 'Em High Pancakes! My parents used to take us there as kids, so I felt the need to go back :) I got orange juice, coffee, strawberries, and a short stack of pancakes. Josh got orange juice, coffee, bacon (which I definitely helped eat), and a belgium waffle with bananas. Nom nom nom!!! After our feast, we went for a walk on the beach. We made it some ways, took the below photos, and then had to turn around because I had to pee (silly baby). We then walked a bit further and headed back the hotel. Then, it was check-out time. I checked us out while Josh played with the resident cockatoo, Sabrina. Well, Sabrina played nice and Josh put her back on her perch. Apparently Sabrina liked Josh and wasn't done with him because she grabbed his finger with her beak and wouldn't let go. Once she let go, Josh had a chunk of his finger gone soooo, first stop after checkout: Walgreens for band-aids!!

After our adventure in first-aid, we went to tons of tourist shops. Let me tell you, trying to find souvenir clothes when you're 30 weeks pregnant is depressing! Nothing fits, guys. Josh managed to find a great shirt. I found nothing. Le sigh. After our adventure, we met up with my parents for lunch; they were just ending their week at Ocracoke, so it worked out perfectly :) I had some delicious shrimp at Hurricane Moe's! My parents got little Caroline an Ocracoke t-shirt, got me a maternity dress, a wine coaster (pretty soon I can use that!), and a great piece of pottery. My dad bought us a croquet set because he used to play croquet with his little girls and wants us to do the same with ours; I love my dad :) We also got two tubs filled with clothes that Allison and I wore as babies - I'm going through them after I finish this blog! I got some wine from my mom: Mommy's Time Out. Can't wait until I can drink it ;) Then, it was time for shopping in Duck with my parents - I love the stores there. Josh and I started driving north, got about a block, and then I realized I forgot to get a family picture. He turned around, we met back up with my parents, and the picture was taken. I'm so glad he puts up with me :) It was a great outing, but too short! So glad I get to see them again soon.

After we said our goodbyes, we headed up to Corolla to meet up with Josh's parents and drive up to Corolla! They stay in a house that is only assessable by four wheeling on the beach. The jeep kicks butt out there! It's always a fun drive; I wish I always had the ocean beside me while driving. We all relaxed at the house for a bit before Josh and I headed back out to get some pizza for dinner! We saw a few wild horses on our drive, but I failed to photograph them... fail!

Monday, we had some awesome eggs, bacon, pancakes, OJ, and coffee for breakfast! After breakfast, Josh and I took Savannah for a walk on the beach and she got to play with her ball. Poor girl's legs still hadn't recovered from this adventure by the time we left; we exhausted her! Then, Josh, Barb and I headed out for some shopping!! We failed at finding a souvenir for little Caroline, but managed to find some souvenir shirts that didn't make me feel like a bloated blimp. We got some awesome homemade ice cream - peanut butter fudge in a waffle cone for me! SO good!!! It was a very nice outing :) After that, it was back to the house for some relaxation. For dinner, we had steaks, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes. I had Sprite in a wine glass while everyone else had wine, bwhaha!

Tuesday, we once again had an awesome breakfast, and then Josh and I headed out on our mission: baby OBX souvenir. Our favorite souvenir from our shopping adventures was a little turtle at a store in Duck. We made the 40 minute drive to Duck just to get our little girl her turtle. We had originally gone for a green turtle, but Josh spotted pink/purple ones and I was SOLD! We picked that up, stopped at the ABC store and Harris Teeter, and headed back to the beach! We had some hotdogs for lunch and then headed down to the beach with Barb. We all walked quite a ways despite the sand storm taking place - good exfoliation :) I even rocked a bikini thanks to Josh telling me I looked great and should be proud... I like him. Well, we would have walked further but a dude in a truck alerted us that there was a tornado warning, sooooo we promptly turned around! The weather was off and on nice for the rest of the day, so we relaxed before taco night!! Josh even made me a virgin margarita so I didn't feel too left out :) We had a very nice time at the "Ocean Rose" with the Brians! Next year, we'll have our little one with us!

Yesterday, we drove 13+ hours back to Florida. Ugh. Longest.Trip.Ever. But, we made it, and we are back! The kitties were very happy to see us last night and the dogs were very happy to see us today (although, the pups need some baths!!). I am a fan of this two-day work week - can all work weeks be this short?

So, it was a lovely vacation!! Loved seeing both sets of parents and spending time with them. Can't wait to see my family again in two weeks, yaaaaayyyy!!!!!

30 Weeks!

How far along: 30 Weeks.

Size of Baby: Cucumber.

Neat facts about baby: Her eyesight is developing; hopefully she's blessed with her dad's eyesight and not her mom's blindness. Her skin is getting smoother and her brain is getting wrinklier (that's odd) to make way for all the essential brain tissue. She's now strong enough to grasp a finger, awww :)

Total weight gain: I'm at the beach and don't have access to a scale, so noooo clue.

What I miss: Yep, still buttoning those pants! And wine. Everyone is drinking wine at the beach and I'm so jealous; my Fresca was consumed out of a wine glass last night so I didn't feel left out.

Sleep: Terrible. I'm waking up constantly! And I keep rolling onto my back while asleep, which I shouldn't be doing. But yeah, sleep is sucking!!

Symptoms: Clumsiness. I read this is normal because my center of gravity is off. I'll be standing still and have to catch myself from falling over. Of course, I am always clumsy, so I'm used to that :) I get a crampy stomach from time to time which isn't so nice, but oh well. My legs are getting tired easily, probably from this extra weight I have never had to carry around.

Cravings/Aversions: Not craving anything specific, but I always want to eat. Increased appetite like whoa!

Movement: Oh yes, she's moving a lot! She'll stop moving for a while and I'll get worried and then she'll punch me to let me know she's still chillin' in there :)

Maternity clothes: The jeans are no longer able to button, so long shirts are a necessity. My mom got me so pregger-friendly beach dresses/tops that I have been wearing while on vacation, which is working out nicely. The BellaBand is still my savior :)

Best moments this week: VACATION! Seeing all the parents has been nice. I didn't get to see my parents for long enough, only 3 hours, but I'll get to see them again very soon!! Also, tons of random strangers at the beach congratulating us has been fun (although some have been a bit creepy because they STARE at my belly). I thought one lady was going to be the first stranger to touch my belly without permission but she seemed to stop herself before she made contact; I didn't like her. My mom brought us two tubs filled with mine and my sister's baby clothes, which I can't wait to go through when we get back to Florida.

What I'm looking forward to: Not looking forward t leaving the beach tomorrow, but I am looking forward to painting the shelf this weekend and probably assembling the crib the weekend after that! And my baby shower is soooo soon; I can't wait for that!!

Beach Bound!

Tomorrow morning we are headed to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for a mini-vacation :) We'll be driving up tomorrow, spending the night in a hotel on the beach, having lunch with my parents Sunday on their way home from their vacation, then headed to Josh's parents rental house where we'll stay until Wednesday, and drive back to Florida Wednesday! Should be a very good time; we need to vacation. The moral of this post, is that there may not be a Monday Blog or a Tuesday "stalk my baby" Blog. I'm not sure that I'm bringing my laptop and I don't know what the internet situation will be, sooooooo there may be no blogging until Thursday.

Also, I just dropped my doggies off at the kennel and I miss their sweet little faces already. At least they have each other <3

Speaking of doggies, here's a picture of Mr. Wrangler and I on the beach last time we went there with Josh's parents. I think I may look a little different in my bikini this time... ;)

Stud Muffin Wrangler and Savannah's Bum.
 HAVE A NICE WEEK, EVERYONE!!!

29 Weeks!

How far along: 29 Weeks.

Size of Baby: Acorn Squash.

Neat facts about baby: She's probably feeling a little cramped in my belly as she's growing, poor lady. She's growing white fat deposits, which is giving her a surge of energy. These two things combined mean a very active baby!

Total weight gain: I forgot to weigh myself this morning, oopsies!

What I miss: Buttoning my pants.

Sleep: Not sleeping great. I wake up a lot in the middle of the night. I toss and turn a lot, poor Josh. Apparently it doesn't disturb him, which is shocking because I feel like I'm changing position every half hour. I had a night last week where I let Ellie outside at 12:15 (little brat) and didn't fall back asleep until at least 2:30 according to my clock. That was rough.

Symptoms: The pregnancy brain, which this weekend caused me to glue my art project upside down (or was that just Kaitlin being Kaitlin and having a blonde moment?). Also, my belly button is more out than in at this point, which is really bizarre. I get leg cramps a lot, which I have read is a mystery symptom that has no cause, but affects a lot of women. This is not helping with the sleeping issues.

Cravings/Aversions: White hot chocolates from Starbucks. Thank you, living social, for giving me an excuse to go get a couple with your deal ;) And my glucose test came back normal, thank god, so I don't have to cut sweets out of my diet. Oh, happy day!!

Movement: She's moving so much and still getting hiccups. Last night, Josh and I were watching TV on the couch and he laid so his head was on my belly (yes, we are strange). She started kicking his ear, bwhahahahaha! She was like, "gosh dad, get off of me!" I can also physically see how she's positioned in there; one side of my belly will poke out, I'll feel her move, and then the other side will be poking out - it's crazy!

Maternity clothes: I can only wear some jeans, dresses and skirts (although most are too short in the front these days and therefore inappropriate) these days, so my options are becoming limited. When I'm at home I'm always in comfy pants that don't squeeze my belly. I bought a couple long dresses at walmart that will work great when the bump continues to grow.

Best moments this week: Two people at the vet, the check-out girl at Publix, and the changing room girl at walmart all acknowledged that I was pregnant, so it's pretty awesome to finally be undoubtedly pregnant looking! Doing her art project was fun, even though I kind of messed up :) Her kicking Josh's ear was pretty hilarious. Getting our bedding in the mail was great, because I love it just as much in person as I did online!

What I'm looking forward to: THE BEACH! Hurry up, week, go by quicker :) Also seeing what baby clothes my mom is bringing us; she's packing two tubs filled with outfits my sister and I wore as babies - it will be crazy to see our little girl in outfits I wore when I was little. And I'm looking forward to eventually putting the nursery together, hanging things in the nursery, and things like that.

My weekend in a blogpost.

Here's my Monday Blog! Better late than never. We were out of internet all morning at my office today (I hate Mondays) and the rest of the day was spent working. Sooo, here I go!

Friday, we took the little Ellie to the vet for her shots (so.expensive.). She is a healthy girl, but a bit chubby (she has love handles), so she is now on a diet. She had a fantastic time at the vet, though. She loves the attention (except when they stick things up her butt). We then headed home and had lazy dinners/leftovers for dinner. Mine sucked, so Josh took me out to get some Dunkin Donuts to fill me up. Decaf iced coffee and a bagel, nom nom nom! We relaxed for the rest of the night; have to get all that relaxation in before the baby comes in a few months :)

Saturday, we had waffles, sausage, coffee, and orange juice for breakfast (so predictable). We hung out, then went out for some shopping. It was one of those shopping trips with no goal, just a way to pass the time! We had delicious Chipotle for lunch and then headed home. We watched "The Fighter" and then Josh cleaned the inside of the Jeep for me (he's the best) since it was covered in dog fur. He did an amazing job and it is now clean for our trip to the beach! I made some amazing skinny buffalo chicken dip for dinner and we watched the FSU football game. It was delayed twice thanks to lightening; Josh was dedicated and watched until the end, but I have up and watched "I Love You Philip Morris."

Sunday, we switched it up and had eggs, sausage, coffee, and orange Juice. My husband makes some awesome eggs and sausage :) We then went outside to put primer on my crafts projects! We then did more of that amazing relaxing and I worked on my crafts. It was so fun! Josh turned some music on for me and I painted, and painted, and painted some more. Once I was done, I went to Walmart to get some ribbon to hang the sign with :) I also grabbed a couple long dresses while I was there; who knew that's where all the cute dresses were hiding? I'm not ashamed. When I got back, I went to attach the ribbon to my craft and realized I glued everything upside down and the brackets were on the bottom. Soooo, the ribbon is not yet attached. Oopsies :) I wasn't super hungry last night, so I had some waffles for dinner, bwhahaha! We hung out until bedtime and then collapsed into bed.

Now, I'm waiting for Josh to come home with our pizza! Half pepperoni (for him) and half spinach and mushroom (for me). Yummmmm!

Almost time for THE BEACH!!!!! Woop woop :)

28 Weeks!

How far along: 28 Weeks.

Size of Baby: Eggplant!

Neat facts about baby: She's starting to develop more fat. Her lungs are strong enough now, that apparently she could survive if born- that's crazy!

Total weight gain: According to my doctor, I'm at 18 pounds (I must have weighed less at my first doctor's appointment than I thought, because my calculations never match his, so I'll just go with what he says). He says I'm right on track and should gain a total of 30 pounds during pregnancy. That is a frightening number, guys!

What I miss: Brewskies! We had friends in town and everyone was drinking brewskies while I had my Sprite. Oh well :)

Sleep: I think it's getting worse. I wake up constantly. Last night, the animals were all restless for some reason, so it made it even worse. I told Josh I came close to closing them all in the bedroom with him and moving myself to the couch. Bwhahaha, I didn't do that, though.

Symptoms: Pregnancy brain, as usual. Growing belly, of course. Other than that, I still feel really great.

Cravings/Aversions: The sweet tooth is actually winding down a little and I haven't been craving anything. No aversions either.

Movement: She is moving a lot, but I can't feel it quite as much. She's getting bigger so she doesn't have as much room to move around. Poor girl is going to get bored! I can still see the movement, though. She is still getting the hiccups and the doctor said it may actually be her breathing that I'm feeling, too. Very neat :)

Maternity clothes: Clothes are not fitting me right anymore. Shirts are all too short, even my long ones. And my pants are just fitting funky. I may have to buy some new clothing items soon, whomp whomp.

Best moments this week: Our doctor's visit when we got to listen to her heartbeat; it's getting so strong and so loud! Putting together her changing table; it looks awesome! Hanging out with friends from back home and having them "meet" the baby. Getting the doctor's okay to buy my plane ticket for the shower, and purchasing it today. Feeling guilty going into a liquor store with the husband so he could get some of his Canadian Whiskey, only to have the men working there congratulating me and saying they were both new dads - I didn't feel as guilty once they acknowledged I would not be partaking in the booze (although, I still did get ID'd!). Buying craft supplies for next weekend's projects! Man, lots of good moments this week.

What I'm looking forward to: Definitely looking forward to seeing both sets of parents at the beach in two weeks :) Looking forward to the baby shower in October and looking forward to my direct flights! Looking forward to arts-ing and crafts-ing next weekend.

NOT looking forward to the gestational diabetes test I'm going to tomorrow. I tested slightly over what I should have at my preliminary test, so I have to go to the 3-hour test. I fast for 12 hours, go in and drink a super sugary drink, and then sit there for 3 hours while they take blood hourly. As a breakfast enthusiast, I'm going to be so hungry all morning. And I have to keep myself occupied for 3 hours, and the Kindle is broken and Josh needs the iPad for work. Oh dear, tomorrow is going to suck. I'll be going to bed soon so I can leave earlier - the earlier I leave, the earlier I'm done my test, and the earlier I can eat!!!

Lovely Labor Day Weekend!

We have had a lovely labor day weekend! I shall blog about it :)

Friday, we had a doctor's appointment at 3:45pm. The little lady's heartbeat is getting very strong and loud; it was crazy how loud it has gotten! I got the doctor's okay to fly up for my baby shower, so tickets will be purchased this week :) The only downer of our appointment, is that I have to go in for a three-hour glucose test this week. The doctor assures me I'm probably fine, but I still have to go. It is going to be so boring. Oh, well. Better safe than sorry!

After our appointment, we had a wonderful Outback feast, thanks to anniversary gift cards from my parents! We both took advantage of the four-course deal they're promoting. We each had soup (broccoli for me, french onion for Josh), salad (house for me, bleu cheese chopped for Josh), steaks (sirloins for both, mine with a bleu cheese crust), sides (broccoli for me, baked potato for Josh), and desserts (cheesecake with chocolate sauce for me, carrot cake for Josh). Needless to say, we were quite full!! We collapsed on the couch and watched Paranormal Activity 3. Then collapsed into food comas for the night :) Photos from our feast:

Anniversary awesomeness from my parents.
Course one and two (lovely half-eaten salad).
Course three (partially eaten steak, oops!)
Course four (sadly, I only ate the cheesecake)
Saturday, we had a great morning with coffee, orange juice, and waffles! I went out shopping for a new FSU shirt that would cover the bump! I found a few cute ones and got a bonus onesie for the little lady!

Ellie approved!

We then headed downtown to meet Justin and Holly, two of my best friends from DC, for lunch. We went to Harry's and it was delicious! I had shrimp and scallops over grit cakes with a side of veggies and a very exciting Sprite (everyone else had beer, whomp whomp). We then had a photoshoot, of course!

Our little family

Justin & Holly

Me & Holly

The boys

They then headed off to the game while we returned home to watch the game. We had a snacky dinner while we watched the game - it was a nice night :) Of course, I also routed for my team, all the way from Florida!

Go Monarchs!!

Sunday, we had another lovely morning with coffee, orange juice, waffles, and sausage. We then set up the changing table for the nursery!! The directions were terrible, but lucky I married a smart man and he figured them out, and the assembly was actually not that bad. It looks great. Many thanks to my grandma for sending this to us :)

LOVE IT!

After our exciting new piece of furniture was complete, we started getting ready to meet Justin and Holly for brunch. Smart-girl-Kaitlin decided to trying to put her hair into a pony tail with sunglasses on her head. BAM onto the floor they went and broke :( First stop: Target for new sunglasses. Second stop: Andrew's for a delicious brunch! I had a wonderful burger with gorgonzola cheese, a side salad, and another exciting Sprite. It was so great to see them, but sadly, it was then time to drop them off at the airport, le sigh. After that, I checked out the new DSW (wanted everything) while Josh walked through Best Buy (where he wanted everything). We then went to the mall where I got some thank you cards (we also got the above piano gym from Scott and Margaret last week - ADORABLE!) and some new body wash from Bath and Body Works. Josh mentioned the word "coffee" on our way home, which made me beg for a decaf iced coffee from Dunkins - blame the pregnancy cravings ;) Here's my coffee and the baby:

Hi, baby bump!

After that, we relaxed at home, had some lazy dinner (pasta for me, pizza for him), and then watched American Reunion. Wasn't great, wasn't bad - it was entertaining :)

This morning, we had another great breakfast of (you guessed it) coffee, orange juice, waffles, and sausage! We then hung out for a bit and then I took Josh to his office so he could do some work (poor boy working on the holiday). I then went to Michaels to gather supplies for some nursery craft projects! I am going to make a sign for her nursery with her name; it will either end up on the wall or on her door). We are also going to paint a shelf for her room. We have been looking everywhere for shelving, and this is the best we have seen! These will be projects for next weekend :)

Sneak preview of her name sign! $15 to make.
Sneak peak of the shelving. $7.50!

Once I picked up the boy from his office, we got some delicious lunch at Newk's. He got a buffalo chicken pizza while I had a steak and bleu salad. SO good!!! Now we're at home hanging out. Midnight and Paris is about to go into the Blu-Ray Player!

So, as you can see, we had a great weekend. Sadly, tomorrow we must return to work :( I can't wait to do our art projects!!! I'm also looking forward to seeing both sets of parents at the beach in a few weeks - we are in desperate need of this vacation :)
